Mary McMillan Scholarship Award
The Mary McMillan Scholarship Award honors students currently in their last year of an accredited program for their superior scholastic ability and measurable potential for future contributions to both the physical therapy profession and the American Physical Therapy Association. This honor is associated with a $5000 award.
Tabitha Galindo, SPT is the 2019 recipient of the Mary McMillan Scholarship Award for Student Physical Therapists. Tabitha and other award recipients will be recognized during the Honors & Awards Ceremony, tentatively scheduled for Thursday, June 13, 5:30–6:30 pm, at the NEXT 2019 Conference and Exposition in Chicago, Illinois.
The OPTA would like to extend its utmost congratulations to Tabitha for this noteworthy achievement, and recognize her for representing herself and our state chapter so well over the duration of her student tenure. We look forward to seeing the fulfillment of her potential, and will actively support her ambition as she continues to advance the profession through her exemplary impact.
